Ashen wings.
This is a very personal post. This concerns the recent drama. I don’t know what might come from this, and I am breaking some secrecy, but… let the fates fall where they may. No explanations given for my readers who don’t know the actors.
*sigh*
When the BoO officers discussed the kicking people, I was one of the ones who voted to kick Krikket when her name came up. I stand by my decision process at the time, because I had a lot of bad information and outright incorrect perceptions that I had taken on good faith.
I hate that this is true, and wish it wasn’t. Especially because it could have been averted if I’d just dug more or been more suspicious, or even just thoughtful. Or, just, talked more to people! Knowing what I know now, I would not have made the same decisions (granted, even knowing half of what I know now, I would have made a lot of different decisions).
It was my failure that I didn’t talk to her more before hand, and that I supported “kick her”, rather than “talk first.”
I stand mostly by my decision process based on the information I had, although I regret that I didn’t do more leading up to it, and do not now support the decisions made.
(At least … It has been a highly instructive learning experience.)
I’ve apologized to her already, but I wanted to make a public note about this.
